“FLY | SHOP | LIVE | STAY COMPETITION” – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to the “FLY | SHOP | LIVE | STAY” competition being conducted by Capital Airport Group Pty Limited ABN 52 080 711 191 and its related entities (the Promoter).
The promotion and entry period of the competition will run from Monday 5 February 2018 until Monday 12 March 2018.
The major prize consists of:
- 10 tickets to the Denman Prospect VIP Backyard at SkyFire 2018
- One night’s accommodation at Vibe Hotel, Canberra Airport on the evening of SkyFire 2018
- $1,000 Travel Voucher
- $500 Grocery Voucher
Total value of the Major Prize is $1,651.00 (GST inclusive), subject to the actual cost of accommodation for a standard room and breakfast at Vibe Hotel, Canberra Airport on the 17th March 2018.

- Each runner-up prize is four tickets to the Denman Prospect VIP Backyard at SkyFire 2018
All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Further details of the prizes are as follows:
- Denman Prospect VIP Backyard
The Denman Prospect VIP Backyard is a designated area at SkyFire 2018, located on the grass near Regatta Point. The winners and their guests must present their VIP passes at the entry to be able to access this area. Winners are only permitted to bring the number of guests included in their prize.
Food and drinks will be provided. Food and drinks cannot be brought into the area. Alcohol will only be served to people over 18 years of age. Proof of age may be required.
- Vibe Hotel, Canberra Airport – Accommodation
Accommodation is for two adults in a Lower Deck Room King or Twin room at Vibe Hotel, Canberra Airport on Saturday 17 March 2018 and includes breakfast the following day.
The accommodation can only be used on SkyFire night, Saturday 17 March 2018.
- Travel Voucher
The Travel Voucher can only be redeemed at Flight Centre, Majura Park Shopping Centre for flights to/from Canberra. The voucher is valid for travel up until 19 March 2019 and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Grocery Voucher
The Grocery Voucher will be comprised of 1 x $250 Woolworths voucher and a 1 x $250 Aldi voucher. The vouchers can only be redeemed at Woolworths and Aldi at Majura Park Shopping Centre. The vouchers are valid until the date indicated on them and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- METHOD OF ENTRY
Collect a competition passport (Passport) from any of the participating businesses at Majura Park Shopping Centre or within the Canberra Airport Precinct, including Canberra Airport Terminal, Majura Park Business Park, Brindabella Business Park, Vibe Hotel and Fairbairn Business Park (Airport Precinct). A list of participating businesses is provided at Section 11 (Participating Business).
Collect a sticker for every $10 spent at a Participating Business and stick them into the Passport. For example, a $50 purchase will earn 5 stickers. A maximum of 10 stickers can be collected in one purchase.
When you have collected 10 stickers, fill in the fields inside of the Passport and place it in an entry box located in front of Aldi or Woolworths at Majura Park Shopping Centre, or in a Participating Business store.
Your Passport must include 10 stickers from at least two different Participating Businesses.
The Promoter reserves the right to distribute Passports at any time to assist in the promotion of the competition.
- DATE & TIME OF DRAW
A runner-up winner will be announced each Wednesday from 14 February 2018 with the last draw on Wednesday 7 March 2018. The Major Prize will be drawn 14 March 2018.
All prize winners will be drawn at random at the following locations:
14 February 2018: Majura Park Shopping Centre, Spitfire Avenue, Majura ACT
21 February 2018: Town Park, Brindabella Business Park, 26 Brindabella Cct, Canberra Airport ACT
28 February 2018: Canberra Airport Terminal, 25 Terminal Avenue, Canberra Airport ACT
7 March 2018: Denman Prospect Sales Suite, 37 Kondelea Way, Denman Prospect ACT
14 March 2018: Level 4, Terminal Offices – West, 21 Terminal Avenue, Canberra Airport ACT
All prize winners will be announced on FM104.7 Radio and notified by telephone and email on the same day. Winners will also be listed on www.denmanprospect.com.au/fly-shop-live-stay/
Winners must arrange collection of their prize from the Promoter within 48 hours of being drawn as a winner.
Note: If a winner cannot be reached by phone within 48 hours of being announced as a winner or does not reply within 48 hours of receiving their notification email, a redraw will occur at the Promoter’s office, Level 4, Terminal Offices – West, 21 Terminal Avenue Canberra Airport ACT.
- VALIDITY & ELIGIBILTY
The competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
However, employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and Participating Businesses are ineligible to enter.
Incomplete, damaged or illegible Passports may be classed as void and disqualified from all prize draws.
Entries will be declared void if tampering is deemed by the Promoter to have occurred, however printing errors and other quality control matters outside of the control of the entrants will not invalidate an otherwise valid Passport entry.
No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
- USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
By entering the competition, each entrant agrees that, if drawn as the winner of a prize, the personal details of the winner (limited to names and suburb or city of residence only) may be notified in the media and advertised and used for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition.
The winners may also be requested by the Promoter to participate in a photo, video and/or film session. If a winner agrees to do so, it further agrees that the Promoter will own all intellectual property rights in that material and may use such publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium (including, without limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable manner it considers appropriate.
To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release from, and indemnify, the Promoter and Participating Businesses against all liability, cost, loss or expense (of whatever nature) arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
- DECISIONS BY THE PROMOTER
All decisions and actions of the Promoter and Participating Business will be exercised according to their absolute discretion.
In all matters, all decisions of the Promoter will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.
- FINANCIAL IMPACTS
Winners will be responsible for any and all taxes incurred in relation to their receipt of their prize(s). Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize.
