Capital Estate Developments has announced a new housing initiative for the Molonglo Valley – a designated precinct that will be designed and constructed for residents wanting to rent. The precinct has taken architectural inspiration from Kingsborough in Kingston and will be known as The Borough at Denman Prospect.
The Borough at Denman Prospect will be a residential and multi-use precinct. The project is a partnership between Capital Estate Developments and local builder Jega who developed Kingsborough in Kingston Foreshore. Once the development is complete, Capital Estate Developments will manage the leasing, maintenance and property management of the apartments and communal areas.
The Borough will offer high-quality yet affordable rental options for tenants, with features not usually provided in the traditional rental market. The model will provide housing stability as tenants can sign-up for a range of flexible and often longer lease terms, enabling them to feel secure in their rented space, with the development owned and managed by Capital Estate Developments.
Residents at The Borough will enjoy an elevated living experience, close to amenity, with many enjoying quintessential views across the Molonglo Valley.
Like all of Denman Prospect, The Borough will be thoughtfully designed with the future in mind, incorporating solar panels, electric car charging stations, drone landing zones, grey water management, sustainable building materials and community gardens.
Tenants will also be able to enjoy all that The Borough precinct has to offer, including pop-up shops and cafes, a gym, and exclusive residents-only communal rooftop areas. It is also within walking distance to the Denman Village Shops and the future Denman Village Playground. The buildings will be managed by Capital Estate Developments, so they will be efficiently cleaned and well maintained. Tenants will feel comfortable in their space and be able to establish themselves in their community.
Stages 1 and 2 of The Borough at Denman Prospect are currently in the detailed planning and design stages, with land servicing underway and building construction expected to commence in the second half of 2022. The first dwellings are expected to be completed and occupied in early-2024.
