Denman North is buzzing with activity as the area undergoes its transformation to welcome new residents into the next stage of our community. Now, you can take a preview of the amenities to come with some newly released artist impressions.
The artist impressions highlight new parks, ponds and pathway connections that have been designed with the exceptional attention to detail that Denman Prospect is renowned for.
Similar to the earlier stages of Denman Prospect, Denman North will have a green pedestrian link that extends the entire length of the development, running from north to south. A bustling community area will feature at its heart, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning elevated views.

“We’re proposing a neighbourhood park, named Coree Park, with a custom play tower that’s inspired by the rolling hills of the Brindabella Mountains; reflective of the views from Denman Prospect and the rest of the Molonglo Valley,” says Capital Estate Developments’ Project Manager, Bridget Bence.
“Within the park will be picnic areas, shelter, an enclosed junior play space, shaded play areas and lots of trees,”
“We’re excited to bring Coree Park to life. Its central location along the pedestrian link means it’ll be easily accessible for residents in the area, and really stays true to our vision of creating a vibrant and connected community.”

Right next to the Coree Park will be another exciting facility that’s been planned in close consultation with residents: a thriving community garden.
The garden will be overseen by Communities at Work, and will include 160 member plots available for locals to grow their veggies. There’ll also be a dedicated gardening shed, glasshouse, picnic tables and BBQ facilities that can be used for events and gatherings.
“The community garden is completely accessible, with a variety of planter box height and size options. There’s a ramp that winds through the whole site, which will provide extra accessibility options and allow people to use wheelbarrows.” says Bridget.
The site is terraced and faces north, providing excellent views and ideal growing conditions for plantings.
Next to the community garden, there will be a brand-new cafe located on the ground floor of a neighbouring residential building.

Another feature coming to Denman North is a large pond area. The serene spot will offer residents a peaceful escape and stunning views toward the east and the Molonglo River Reserve.
"The pond has been created as a community destination and will feature walkways and cycling paths around the edge. It’ll be surrounded by some beautiful native plants and deciduous trees to enhance the local ecosystem,” says Bridget.
“We’ve included a jetty and boardwalk that passes over the pond in the design. We’re excited to bring this new space for recreation to life, knowing that it’ll contribute to the lifestyle that our community thrives in.” says Bridget.

You won’t have to wait too long to enjoy the exciting new spaces, and a quick glance out to Denman North will show how far the development has come over the past few months, with landscaping, pathways, roads and lighting now complete in some areas and soon to be completed in others.
The pond area is expected to open to the public by the end of this year, with the community garden, park and playground due to open in mid-2025.
