New junior play options are coming to Cravens Crossing Playground!
We’re upgrading the junior play section at Cravens Crossing Playground. Over the next few months, junior play options will either be replaced or modified to better suit children aged 0 – 4 years old.
Changes to the play equipment include adding a small sandpit and sand digger, a miniature climb tower, climbable mounds, a smaller slide, climbing net, and more. We’re also installing seating for parents to stay nearby and an additional shade cloth for sun protection.
The main park will remain open during the construction period, however the junior play area (fenced area) will be temporarily closed for a period of time. Some parking bays will also be temporarily inaccessible to ensure the site can be fenced.
Works will commence from Monday 3 February, weather permitting. The new play area will reopen in autumn 2025.
