Eclipse is a curved and stainless-steel sculpture. The piece reflects figures drifting, moving, swimming, and dancing in the sphere on top of the water.

Snape describes the figures are like the clouds that brush across the Canberra landscape with the negative spaces enabling people to look through the sculpture rather than just at it.

Michael Snape is a painter, sculptor, and draughtsman. He works across an array of media, including stainless steel and wood panel to create scenes of collective human movement and abstracted animal forms.
