About
The Culprit symbolises changes in the landscape occurring through human intervention or nature. It represents the changes that occur unnoticed and how we are oblivious to them; they can be beyond our control, and it may be too late to reverse them.
Barak is a surrealist artist who has worked with hybrids and metamorphosis since 1988. He practices printmaking and sculpture and is also interested in drawing and photography. Inspired by surrealism, Barak has exhibited widely in Australia and overseas. His ideas and inspiration come from people and animals, human mechanical behaviour in society, politics, and progressive psychedelic music.
